Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about shipping from China to Argentina.
How long does shipping from China to Argentina take?
Sea freight typically takes 30-45 days port to port depending on the origin port (Shanghai, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Qingdao, or Guangzhou) and the destination (Buenos Aires or Rosario). Allow 35-58 days door to door once customs clearance and inland delivery are included. Air freight takes 5-7 days to Buenos Aires.
How much does it cost to ship from China to Argentina?
Shipping costs vary with volume, weight, mode (sea or air), and destination. FCL container rates are quoted per container; LCL rates are quoted per cubic metre. Because rates move weekly, we quote against your actual cargo rather than publishing a price list — send the details and we respond within 24 hours.
What is the difference between FCL and LCL?
FCL (Full Container Load) means your cargo fills an entire 20ft or 40ft container and you pay for the whole box. LCL (Less than Container Load) means your cargo shares container space with other shipments and you pay per cubic metre. LCL is usually the better choice between 1 and 15 CBM.
Do you offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service?
Yes. Our DDP service covers freight, export clearance, Argentine customs clearance, duties, IVA, and final delivery to your address. You receive the cargo without handling import paperwork. Note that DDP changes who manages the import, not who is legally the importer of record — we explain this per shipment.
What documents do I need to import from China to Argentina?
Every commercial import needs a commercial invoice, packing list, and bill of lading (or airway bill for air freight). Most shipments also need a certificate of origin and correct NCM classification. Some products require additional certificates (for example ENACOM for electronics, ANMAT for food-contact and medical goods, SENASA for agricultural products).
Can you handle customs clearance in Argentina?
Yes. We work with licensed Argentine despachantes de aduana to clear cargo at Buenos Aires, Rosario, and Zárate, and we prepare the documentation before the vessel arrives so clearance does not become the bottleneck.
Which Chinese ports do you ship from?
We ship from Shanghai, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Qingdao, Guangzhou, and Xiamen. Sailing frequency and transit time differ by port — Shenzhen to Buenos Aires is the fastest lane we operate and Qingdao to Rosario the slowest.
How do I get a shipping quote?
Send us the cargo details: product description, weight, volume or container type, origin city, and destination city. Use the contact form, WhatsApp, or the transit time estimator for a first indication. We reply with a written rate within 24 hours.
